Ayah Editor · Download
Download Ayah Editor.
Early Access is free — full editor, full-quality export, a small "Ayah Editor" watermark on exported video. The macOS and Windows builds are currently with early-access testers; join the list and the download links land in your inbox.
Early Access testing
Builds for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 12+) and Windows (64-bit, Windows 10+) exist and are being tested with the early-access list right now. Join the list — testers receive the download links by email, and everyone on it gets a note the day the public build is up.
macOS
First launch on macOS
Early Access builds are not yet code-signed (signing and notarization arrive with the public release), so the first launch needs one extra step:
- Open the
.dmgand drag Ayah Editor into Applications. - In Applications, right-click the app → Open, then choose Open in the dialog.
- If macOS still refuses: System Settings → Privacy & Security → "Ayah Editor was blocked…" → Open Anyway.
This is only needed once; afterwards the app opens normally.
Good to know
- The first export downloads its encoder browser (~100 MB, one time). Everything else — the mushaf, translations, themes — is bundled and works fully offline.
- Updates: the app checks this site's releases on launch and tells you when a new build is out. Nothing installs itself.
- No account, no telemetry. Projects, footage and renders never leave your machine.
Windows
First launch on Windows
The Windows build is not yet code-signed either, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may warn on first run:
- Run
Ayah-Editor-Setup-…exe. - If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.
This is only needed once; afterwards the app opens normally.
Found a problem?
Early Access exists to find rough edges. Write to info@ayaheditor.com — a screenshot and the project file are the fastest way to a fix.
